The building is ready and the next step should be to apply for a use and occupancy permit, which is the legal obligation of the owner of the building. All buildings that have received a construction permit after 30.06.1995. must have a permit for use and occupancy or a statement of use and occupancy and construction documentation after completion and before commissioning. A use and occupancy permit is granted if the construction of the completed building conforms with the construction permit and the building can be used in accordance with the requirements and intended use. The permit for use and occupancy is applied for from 1 January 2018 only at the Register of Construction Works.
